Meet SAIC’s T-Shirt Design Contest Winner, Shina Kang. Kang’s design was inspired by their go-to order at SAIC cafeterias, the strawberry and banana smoothie. Kang is studying to receive their BFA in Visual Communication and expected to graduate in 2026.
“The SAIC Blend” on the front of the shirt encapsulates the whirlwind of diverse disciplines, students, and cultures that make up SAIC while the back emphasizes the customizable educational pathway and interdisciplinary freedom that SAIC offers.
